A sustainable future for all
Not everyone is as lucky as we do. Donate your old glasses to us. Help us improve lives through prescribing a better vision for those in need, one pair of glasses at a time.
Steps:
1. Drop your old glasses to us.
2. We will check if the frame is still usable.
3. We will disinfect and clean the glasses, replace the screws, nose pad & necessary parts.
4. We will arrange an eye test day at orphanage home, old folks home or refugee center and prescribe the glasses to those in need.
In short, you donate the frame, we donate the lenses. This project is expected to start after the pandemic is under control and we are able to gather at least 30 pairs of frames.
Free lifetime glasses maintenance service
We aim to increase your glasses’ lifespan. We are pleased to service – at no cost – the glasses purchased at Rx optometry, including adjusting the frame, changing nose pads and glasses cleaning.
We don’t recommend frequent change of glasses in terms of sustainability. We can do our part to help reduce waste for the environment. Therefore, we hope you enjoy your glasses as long as you wish.
Note: A RM8 will be charged for glasses not purchased at Rx optometry. A RM2 will proceed to lens donation to those in need.
